My name is Ashley and I'm an Orange County native who was raised Christian. In 2020 my faith journey took an unexpected turn and I embraced Islam—a profound shift that has since transformed my life and perspective in beautiful ways.

I studied Film Production and American Sign Language at UC San Diego and found my calling in education; teaching ASL, photography, and film studies at an alternative high school. In my free time I love to cook for family and friends, crochet, and watch movies. I'm so happy to be a part of building an amazing convert community!

Megan Wyatt

Co-Founder, Women's Community Gatherer & Spiritual Support

My name is Megan, and I have been a Muslim since 1998. I discovered Islam as a college student while earning my bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies. Ever since my passion for Islam has shaped my career choices and my parenting journey, Alhamdulilah.

As the founder of Wives of Jannah, I’ve supported Muslim wives and couples since 2011 through marriage coaching, training programs, and my podcast, Wives of Jannah: Islamic Relationship Advice. I also created One Meaningful Life, where I developed an Islamic personal development program featuring group coaching, online events alongside respected speakers, and the One Meaningful Life podcast.

Together with my eldest daughter, I published *How to Get Hijab Ready: A Guide for Muslim Girls Ages 8-11.

I have had the honor of speaking at various Islamic conferences across North America and participating in interfaith events, sharing insights on Islam.

My community involvement includes leadership roles in Islamic education and youth programs since 2007.

As a lifelong learner in Islam, I’m particularly passionate about women's issues and family life. I am a wife and veteran homeschooling mother of four. I enjoy rich hot chocolate, reading personal development books, engaging in deep discussions, and pursuing running.
